At Doctors Naturae, we are delighted to announce that Dr. Olinca Trejo has achieved certification in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and hormonal health. Having completed her training in New York City, alongside Dr. Erika Schwarz, M.D. - one of the most eminent clinicians in the field - Dr. Trejo is eager to incorporate her specialized skill-set into her existing practice.
Olinca graduated with distinction from McMaster University, where she obtained an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology. Following her passion for promoting health, and seeking to contribute to her native country, she designed and led Servicios Integrales de Nutricion y Kinesiologia in Mexico City.Based in oncology hostels, the community program aimed to improve cancer patients' quality of life by educating and empowering them to make healthy lifestyle choices. Motivated by the program's positive impact on patients recover, Olinca was inspired to pursue her affinity for holistic health and natural healing at the prestigious Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she completed the four year naturopathic medical program. Since then, she has been continually dedicated to expanding her medical knowledge by studying- both locally and abroad, with renowned experts in alternative and conventional medicine.
Olinca holds a general family practice with a special interest in fertility and hormonal imbalances, weight loss, hair loss and digestive disorders. Her unique approach combines evidence-based medical analysis with the art and wisdom of traditional medicine, achieving an integrative diagnosis and individualized holistic treatment plan for each patient. Drawing on her expertise of nutrition, botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling, she is able to effectively address the root cause of imbalance and restore all aspects of mental, emotional and physical well-being. Olinca believes that true wellness is more than being symptom-free, and she is committed to working with primary care physicians to incorporate a more integrative approach to patient care. As a naturopathic doctor, she is dedicated to educating, guiding, and empowering patients to lead a balanced lifestyle resulting in optimal wellness.
Olinca is licensed and registered as a naturopathic doctor in Ontario by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine (CAND). She is also fully fluent in Spanish.
