Tracy is certified by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy Naturopathy and an active member of both The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and The Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Tracy’s journey of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor began during a grade 12 summer co-op program, where she was paired up with a veteran Naturopathic Doctor; Fateh Srajeldin ND currently practicing in Etobicoke, Ontario. She commuted 1.5 hours back and forth all summer long learning the ropes from her mentor who taught her the importance of colonic irrigation therapy, Chinese pulse diagnosis and Intravenous therapy. Tracy further graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree continuing to build her knowledge and experience along the way, including managing a large health food store close to her home and becoming a certified personal trainer at Good Life Fitness club.
Maintaining a strong interest in naturopathic medicine, she continued her studies for 4 more years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Canada’s premier institute for education and research in naturopathic medicine. There she gained the knowledge of many naturopathic modalities but gravitated towards Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture which she has seen to help many concerns such as arthritis and pain, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and mental health. During her years at school Tracy was hand selected to be one of the first and only students to work at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic the school’s teaching clinic where over 100 patients are seen daily, and gain the experience of how to organize and run a large naturopathic clinic. In her last year, Tracy was chosen to represent Seroyal; one of the leading naturopathic supplement companies in Canada and continued as their Medical Advisor once graduating from the college. This is where her knowledge of homeopathic drainage remedies and interest in Auricular Medicine began. After a countless number of learning seminars and courses over her 2 year stay at seroyal, she gained an immense amount of knowledge any one of her colleagues would acquire over 10 years. For this, she is thankful and blessed to have worked with such great individuals who lead the industry on the advancement of Naturopathic Medicine; maintaining the foundational principles of the profession.
Currently, Tracy practices complementary naturopathic care involving prescription drug management and family health care focusing on a mind-body approach to disease and uses Auricular Medicine; an energetic technique, to help identify and treat such connections from head to toe. This approach is helpful for addressing stress-induced concerns, weight loss, hormonal disturbances, nausea and vomiting, eczema and psoriasis, high blood pressure, diabetes, nervous system disorders like multiple sclerosis, ADD/ADHD, autism, speech and motor impairments, and special needs individuals. Tracy has a special interest in infants and children and uses her approach successfully with them. Auricular Medicine is a non invasive energetic tool, using the assessment of the radial pulse and energetic fields that surround the body to assess deficiencies, imbalances and determine specific doses and supplements based on the individual being tested.
