Kristin Wootton, ND

Naturopathic Doctor, Naturopathic Doula

Kristin Wootton is a Naturopathic Doctor who holds a general family practice. She works with people of all ages to develop effective treatment plans that can be easily understood and incorporated into their daily lives.

Kristin is dedicated to evidence informed practice and professional development.  Her goal is to determine the underlying cause of health concerns and to re-establish the foundations of health.  Individuals can expect treatment, ongoing support, empowerment, and education that will improve their overall health and quality of life.

Her special interests include immune/stress support, digestive concerns, women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy care. As a Certified Naturopathic Doula, Kristin can also provide extensive pregnancy, labour, and post-partum support.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is an active member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Nautropathy.

Her academic training has been complimented by hands-on experience at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, providing patient assessments, physical exams and developing individualized short- and long-term treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. In addition, she trained at the Sherbourne Health Centre, providing services to people who were HIV positive. Kristin was selected to be part of the first naturopathic teaching program offered within a Canadian hospital, the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic.

Kristin has a passion for the outdoors and helping others through community education on local and international scales. Recently, she served as part of a medical brigade in Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International. These opportunities have provided first hand exposure to how various lifestyles can impact overall health and the skills needed to develop unique health solutions.

Kristin looks forward to working with you to achieve your health goals.
